OFFSHORE INSTALLATIONS

The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) Order 1992

Coming into force17th February 1992

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 22(1) and (2) of the Petroleum Act 1987[1] (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 17th February 1992.
        2.    A safety zone is hereby established around the installation specified in column 1 of the Schedule hereto (being an installation stationed in waters to which subsection (7) of section 21 of the Act applies) having a radius of five hundred metres from the point as respects that installation which has the co-ordinates of latitude and longitude according to European Datum (1950) specified in columns 2 and 3 of the Schedule.
        3.    The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (No. 5) Order 1992[2] is hereby revoked.
