Now therefore the Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 1(2)(c)[2], 133(1) and 135(1)[3] of the Water Resources Act 1963 and now vested in him [4], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.(1) This Order may be cited as the Thames Water Authority (Repeal of Local Enactments) Order 1988 and shall come into force on the 17th February 1988.
(2) This Order and the Thames Water Authority Acts and Orders 1974 to 1987 may be cited together as the Thames Water Authority Acts and Orders 1974 to 1988.
