In exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph 1(1)(c) of Schedule 3 to the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990[1], and for the purposes of that Schedule, I hereby make the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 (Enforcement Officers) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 15th February 1992. 2. The following descriptions of persons, in addition to those specified inparagraph 1(a) and (b) of Schedule 3 to the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 (enforcement powers in respect of ships), shall be enforcement officers under that Schedule (a) commissioned officers of any of Her Majesty's ships; (b) officers of the sea-fishery inspectorate of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; (c) officers of the fishery protection service of the Secretary of State for Scotland holding the rank of commander, first officer or second officer.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)This Order, which comes into force on 15th February 1992, specifies descriptions of persons to be enforcement officers in relation to any ship to which section 18 (drug trafficking offences on British ships) or 19 (ships used for illicit traffic) of the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 applies (in addition to constables and officers of Customs and Excise, who are enforcement officers by virtue of paragraph 1(a) and (b) of Schedule 3 to that Act).
