The European Parliamentary Elections (Day of Election) Order 1994

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the European Parliamentary Elections Act 1978[1], I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the European Parliamentary Elections (Day of Election) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st March 1994.
2. A general election of the United Kingdom representatives to the European Parliament shall be held on 9th June 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)This Order appoints 9th June 1994 as the day on which the next general election of representatives to the European Parliament will be held.
