The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991[1] and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[2], and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order: - Commencement and citation 1.This Order may be cited as The A501 Trunk Road (Euston Road, Camden) Red Route (Prescribed Routes) Traffic Order 1998, and shall come into force on 9th January 1998. Interpretation 2.In this Order -
(b) causing includes permitting; (c) "Midland Road" and "Judd Street" means those roads so named in the London Borough of Camden; (d) "the eastern island" means the easternmost pedestrian refuge situated in the mouth of Midland Road at its junction with the A501 Euston Road; (e) "the western island" means the westernmost pedestrian refuge situated in the month of Midland Road at its junction with the A501 Euston Road; Prescribed Routes Notes: [1] 1991 c. 40.back [2] 1984 c. 27.back [3] 1996/1625.back ISBN 0 11 065380 7 -- Back--
